Shipping & Delivery

1. Postage, handling, freight and delivery

1.1 Delivery is by Australia Post or Star Track (Delivery Agents).

1.2 Postage and handling (Delivery Fee) is charged at a rate of  fifteen dollars ($15.00) per order.

1.3 Subject to the other provisions as contained within these Terms and Conditions Smart Stockfeeds aims to achieve the delivery timeframes set out below, subject to clause 1.4:-

(a) within eight (8) business days in regional areas; and

(b) within 10 business days in rural areas.

1.4 You acknowledge and agree that notwithstanding anything else in this clause:-

(a) Smart Stockfeeds cannot guarantee that delivery will occur in the delivery timeframe specified in clause 4.3;

(b) Smart Stockfeeds will endeavour to dispatch orders within 3 business days (excluding public holidays) after payment has been accepted and cleared, subject to stock availability;

(c) Smart Stockfeeds will accept orders from outside Australia but will only deliver within Australia;

(d) delivery timeframes may change from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances and that the time frames as specified in clause 4.3 is an estimate only in which Smart Stockfeeds will not be liable or responsible for in the event of any delay; and

(e) Smart Stockfeeds is not liable with respect to any loss, damage, costs, expense or injury you or any third party suffers as result of any change in delivery times or delay in delivery.

1.5 An appropriate person must be present to accept the delivery of your order, in which you may appoint a representative to do so in your place, in which any such representative must be over 16 years of age and capable of receiving delivery on your behalf, and you agree that Smart Stockfeeds will be entitled to rely on the representatives instructions as if they were your own.

1.6 On delivery, the Delivery Agent may require you or your nominated representative to provide them with proof of identity, together with photo identification or proof of age. In the event that this clause is not complied with or no one is available to accept delivery then the Delivery Agent reserves the right to refuse to complete delivery, in which the Delivery Agent may elect to leave a calling card for collection from a local Australia Post office. Where redelivery is required for any reason whatsoever then you may be required to pay an associated fee for redelivery.

1.7 Insurance and express delivery is not available in respect of your order.

2. Return for refund of exchange

2.1 If you need to return goods to us, please contact us by phone or email to obtain a returns authorisation within fourteen (14) days of receipt of your product.

2.3 Any products purchased cannot be returned, exchanged or replaced simply because you have changed your mind.

2.4 Our returns policy conforms with the regulations of the Department of Commerce WA. For further information see their website at www.commerce.wa.gov.au/ConsumerProtection.

2.5 Goods damaged in transit or due to faulty manufacture, subject to clause 13.6 should be returned for our inspection.

2.6 Replacement goods cannot be sent until we have received the returned goods.

2.7 We will refund any postage costs incurred in returning faulty goods.

2.8 Subject to clause 13.6 we will gladly refund your purchase if the goods supplied are faulty and we are unable to repair or find a replacement.

2.9 Any refund we provide will be made using the same payment method as used to purchase the goods.

3. Exchange of products

3.1 Smart Stockfeeds will only accept goods for exchange when the goods are returned in unused condition with all tags and labels attached.

3.2 All exchanges will be charged at the usual postage rate when returned to you.

3.3 We do not accept any responsibility for goods lost in return transit.

It is important that you are confident that any personal information you provide to us is treated with the highest degree of integrity and privacy.

Our privacy policy recognises your right to privacy.

We understand that any personal information we may collect about you will only be used for the purposes set out in our policy to enable us to provide you with the best possible service.

Smart Stockfeeds is a retail and mail order company specialising in the retail sales of Stock feeds, saddlery, clothing and related products.

2. Collection of personal information

2.1 Personal information held by Smart Stockfeeds may include your name, date of birth, current addresses, telephone / mobile number, email address, bank account or credit card details.

2.2 Smart Stockfeeds collects personal information in a number of ways including:

(a) directly from you when you provide information by phone or in documents such as resumes or account applications; and

(b) from publicly available sources of information

3. How we use your personal information

3.1 Smart Stockfeeds will collect and receive personal information to enable us to conduct our business and provide services to our customers.

3.2 By collecting personal information Smart Stockfeeds may:

(a) provide the services you require;

(b) determine your requirements and the services you may request from us;

(c) conduct appropriate checks for credit worthiness and for fraud;

(d) research and develop our services;

(e) gain an understanding of your information so we may provide you with better service;

(f) maintain your records and protect you from unauthorised access and use of your personal information; and

4. Direct Marketing

4.1 From time to time Smart Stockfeeds may use your personal information to provide you with marketing information about our range of products, new products or other services being offered by us.

4.2 The usual method of contact will be by mail however we may also telephone or email you in certain cases.

4.3 If you do not wish to receive any marketing information you may decline to receive such information by contacting our office by mail.

4.4 Once you have told us you no longer wish to receive information about our products and services, Smart Stockfeeds will not send you any further material unless we are required by law to send such information to you.

4.5 Unless you have specifically agreed to us doing so, Smart Stockfeeds will not disclose your personal information to a non associated party for the purposes of allowing them to direct market their products and services to you.

5. Disclosing your personal information

5.1 Smart Stockfeeds may disclose your personal information to outside organisations. The organisations to which Smart Stockfeeds may disclose information include:

(a) your representatives (e.g. authorised representatives or legal advisers);

(b) credit reporting and fraud checking agencies;

(c) credit providers for credit related purposes such as creditworthiness, credit rating, credit provision and financing;

(d) our professional advisors including our Accountants, Auditors and Lawyers;

(e) government and regulatory authorities; and

(f) other organisations as required by law.

5.2 If you advise us you do not wish to have your personal information used or disclosed for a particular purpose, Smart Stockfeeds will respect your wishes unless this is not legally or practically possible.

6. Keeping your personal information accurate

6.1 It is very important that the personal information Smart Stockfeeds collects from you is accurate, complete and up to date so that we may continue to carry on our business.

6.2 During the course of our relationship with you, Smart Stockfeeds may ask you to tell us of any changes to your personal information.

6.3 You can contact Smart Stockfeeds at anytime to update your personal information or to tell us that the information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete.

7.1 The safety and security of your personal information is a priority to Smart Stockfeeds.

7.2 Smart Stockfeeds will take all reasonable precautions to prevent your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure by storing it in a secure environment and allowing access only to authorised persons.

7.3 When your personal information is no longer required for the purpose for which it was used or disclosed, it will be destroyed or permanently de-identified.

You have a right to access your personal information subject to some exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please contact our office by mail. Smart Stockfeeds reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for and providing access to your personal information.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Payment must be completed before the order is shipped. Pricing is firm and not negotiable. Sometimes items will go on sale; if you paid full price for an item previously you can not get a refund for the difference.
